Our Zumba Classes

Most Zumba classes are about an hour long. They traditionally begin with a warm-up session before getting into the more active dance routines. The workouts end with a cool-down and some static stretching. The workout portions are generally pre-choreographed before the sessions, but many instructors will add their own elements to spice up the classes. Don’t expect your fitness instructors to be yelling out orders too much during exercises. Instead look for cues as to what to do and what directions to move. Much of the class involves repetition and the example of the dance instructors.

Zumba is great because participants need little more than some breathable exercise clothes and nothing more. It would be a good idea to bring a towel and a water bottle as you will no doubt be working up a sweat! Currently our Westbury gym offers Zumba classes five days a week!
