My name is Melanie. I am a senior at suny old westbury. I am head captain of my cheerleading team. My major is Criminology. Im infatuated with the disney princess. Ive worked at big als for about 5 months now . I also teach the cheerleading and gymnastics class here for the 6 – 12 year olds <3 : )
Lisa Frandy
My name is Lisa Frandy and so far I have worked here for a brief 3 weeks. I just graduated in May from SUNY University at Albany with a Bachelors in Biology. Since I have graduated I am considering continuing my education next year to become a teacher. So, I wanted to work in the nursery at Big Al’s because it gives me some experience working with multiple young children of various ages.
Taylor Auld
My name is Taylor. I go to Baruch College in Manhattan, which is primarily a business school. I have worked at Big Al’s for about 8 months. I love working with the kids at Big Al’s! They are so much fun and it is so great to watch them grow! Because I enjoy it so much to help the kids learn new things I aspire to get a degree somewhere within the childcare and education field, or to get a degree in English & journalism aim to one day be a magazine editor
Michelle Lavin
My name is Michelle. I go to school at Manhattan College. I dorm during the week but, I come home every weekend. My major was Early Childhood Education but, I changed it to a Business major because of the economy troubles. I have been babysitting since I was in seventh grade. Being around kids is what I love but unfortunately there aren’t too many jobs as teachers available. I have been working at Big Al’s for about five months and feel this is the best job and I absolutely love all the kids! I look forward to working even if it is just on the weekends:)
